What should you avoid?
As we do not charge by the letter, number, or scroll, sometimes customers get a little carried away and end up requesting a very busy and not too legible sign. We want to please you, but we also feel that a sign that can't be read is a waste of your money.  [Back to Top]

What is the most important item?
In most cases the number is the most important item on the sign. Anything else is secondary copy and less vital. Consider the distance your home is from the street and determine the size of the number you need using this simple chart:

How can a low contrast sign be made readable from a distance?
Don't be afraid to order a low contrast sign if it fits in best with your home decor. Just make the number a little larger and people will have no trouble seeing it.  [Back to Top]

Which sign is the most popular?
Black Slate with Copper/Ivory* paint is our most popular sign!  [Back to Top]

What signs show up best at night?
Copper/Ivory* and White/Silver* are special blended paints containing metal which provides better nighttime visibility. They don't glow in the dark, they just reflect light better than the other paints.  [Back to Top]
